Why another restaurant?

You may see this application and instantly think no way, we do not need another food business in the city, but really what is the harm? Rather than seeing it as just another food business, envision the opportunities it opens up for more events, more variation in social spaces and a whole new community. Our vision for this establishment extends beyond the typical ‘grab and go’ model. We aspire to create a welcoming environment that encourages people to stay, meet new people and create lasting memories. At this moment in time, only one restaurant will be open at once or none at all; there is definitely room for improvement.

The social spaces in STRP have remained relatively unchanged for at least a year heading for two, let’s throw something new into the mix! It is also worth acknowledging the significant growth in popularity that STRP has experienced this year, new social spaces will only encourage new citizens to stay. 

The jobs available for citizens currently are heavily lacking, there is a huge need for some new variety. Crime has always been the path to go down, we want to change that. Giving out more opportunities to new civilians or old gang members who want to change their way of life.

You may argue that some restaurants struggle as it is, but we do not believe that is due to the amount of places we have in the city. We know from being in the business for so long how hype from restaurant to restaurant changes every couple of months and the one that is chosen can rack in millions of dollars per week if done correctly. The money that is available in the food industry is not lacking, if anything it is one of the most profitable businesses to be in right now. 

It is crucial to emphasise that our goal is not to engage in any hostile competition with existing food businesses. We highly respect and value the establishments that have contributed to the city for months or even years and our intention is not to negatively compete. 

In addition, we are more than happy to create anything needed for the business, Rye has created some examples and included them down below. Retexturing uniforms, menus, liveries and designing high quality personalised items will all be in the works if the application goes through.

Why not Burgershot?

Since living in Los Santos, we have witnessed numerous Burgershot re-openings and they all eventually face decline. The repetitiveness has left us with the conviction that it is time for something fresh to welcome into the city. The old crusty recipes do not reach the quality of the selection of food in the city currently; it is begging for a major revamp! The need for something new is inspiring and revitalising. It is not just about opening another restaurant, it is about introducing a whole new social space. Our commitment to this new business is not just to serve food, but to also create an entertaining atmosphere where there is always something going on. We feel as though Burgershot is being forced to replace people’s creative ideas for the city, which always have huge potential. It is a shame to let something go to waste over something that hasn’t worked for years.

We firmly believe Gelato has immense potential in Los Santos, strategically positioned in a location that sets it apart from the other food establishments. Unlike Fred’s with its dine-in Italian, UwU Cafe’s cutest charm, or Horny’s greasy goods, Gelato introduces a unique concept- offering an inviting social space for individuals to unwind and connect over their favourite flavours.

The menu at Gelato revolves around a delightful range of ice cream themed snacks, with the standout star being Scoobi’s Scoops! From mouth watering pancakes and waffles to tempting ice cream sandwiches, we aim to cater for all the sweet tooths in Los Santos. With the city's obsession with milkshakes, we present our own flavoured Gelato Milkshakes, which will be complimented by a selection of coffee shop inspired beverages. If the sugar is too much to handle, smoothie bowls will be the perfect healthier option. While we plan to offer a couple of flavours for each item, our goal is to provide enough variation to keep the experience exciting without overwhelming our customers. With the huge variety of ice cream emotes already in the city, there will be no need for eating fake burgers anymore too!  Moreover, Rye will be working on an Ice Cream truck livery, ensuring that no matter where you find yourself in Los Santos, Gelato is ready to deliver. 

To ensure a cohesive and easily recognisable look, we will design a range of T-shirts with different colour variations corresponding to different roles. Additionally, our members will wear personalised lanyards displaying their respective ranks. The process for this has started, Rye needs to test them out in maybe a test server aha ha. 

Our commitment to creating fun experiences extends to frequent parties and events at our establishment. Whether you're into lively karaoke nights or prefer a quiet date night, we’re excited to bring a variety of events to Los Santos. Picture an indulging all you can eat ice cream night, just one of the many delightful things we have in store for the community. With an ice cream van, we can take part in events any time and any place.

We have created an exceptional team, with over half of us with culinary experience, and the rest are trying something brand new. Our management is filled with skilled individuals, who all have months or even years of business experience. Hiya loves! If you haven’t already met me, I am Rye Bunny. I have been around for almost two whole years! I am mainly known for my position at the infamous UwU Cafe so let me inform you of some of the things I worked for and why I am more than qualified to run a successful business.

My primary responsibilities during my time at the cafe were management duties. I was trusted with the company’s finances and created a rewarding paycheck system of my own for the cafe, ensuring the disbursement of paychecks on a weekly basis. Over the course of a year, I consistently handed them out, with the exception of a couple cheeky holidays. Also, Yuumi and I edited the SOP’s frequently with updates to the cafe- my involvement with the documentation of the cafe ensures that I can oversee a company's operations and even create a complex structure of my own. Through numerous interviews and training sessions, I selected individuals who would and did eventually succeed in the company. On the other hand, I also navigated disciplinary meetings when necessary. 

Beyond the day-to-day operations, I hosted successful cafe events and then extended our services to cater for other parties. Not only that, I also designed the majority of UwU Cafe’s main menu, including the beloved UwU Teas. I was involved in the ingredients and nutritional information for all of UwU cafe’s items. Furthermore, I designed the goooorgeous badges and the livery for the one and only UwU vans! I have so much creative potential in the city including graphic design and videography, imagine what I could do with Rockstar Editor!

Although I loved my time at the cafe, health challenges forced me to give up my position as Manager which led to a couple unfortunate disagreements. The only thing keeping me at the cafe was my friendships and family. Fortunately, I received some amazing treatments and I’m on a positive incline, allowing me to dedicate my time towards something for more people to enjoy. I feel as though I have needed a fresh start for a while and Scoobi gave me the push to do just that. 

Hiyaaa I am the one and only Scoobi Doobi and I have been around Los Santos for almost two years now and I think I have clearly made a name for myself. In just one year in the food businesses, I have accomplished what most others take five years to achieve. My 7,242 completed orders proves this, showing not only my efficiency but my consistency. Sometimes I do claim that I have carried a business for nearly a whole year, but really I dedicated so much time to the Cafe- much more than any other person. I demonstrate outstanding customer service, I take pride in never failing to make a sale. My experience as a Supervisor provided me with valuable insights into effective management. Navigating the daily operations, I learned what makes a business thrive. This is exactly why I am more than qualified to be the owner of a business.

I took a long break from the Cafe at the end of 2023 which gave me a lot of time to think. I felt like it was time for me to move on in my life and start something new so that is exactly what I am doing. A new space. A new environment. Something other than ten freakshakes! When this application goes live I may still be going through brain surgery, but I am sure Rye will have everything under complete control. When all the surgeries are all sorted, I will be back and better than ever. Don’t be missing me too much!

Hey, I’m Amala, the one and only! I have been in the city of Los Santos for just over a year now and I’ve spent most of that time as an employee at the cat cafe. During my time at the cafe I managed to complete over 3000 orders, which shows how dedicated I was. The time I spent there, I helped prep the stock for the cafe, socialised with the customers trying to make sure they had a fun and memorable experience, helped trained a couple members and came up with ideas to help try and be the best we could be. I managed to make my way up the ranks all the way up to the Supervisor position. 

Although I have enjoyed my time at the cafe, I feel I need a fresh start and want to try something new, and I feel working at Gelato would be the perfect fit. In the manager position, I have already spent time helping with the planning and preparation of Gelato. As manager, I want to make sure all employees ideas are heard and taken into consideration to make sure everyone can have a great experience working there.

Hey, my names Johnny Kun and I've been in the city of Los Santos for just over a year, with the majority of my time spent working at the cafe. As the self proclaimed head chef of UwU, I came up with many ideas, worked in and out of the cafe and trained many of the people still working there today. 

Although I never was in management in previous businesses, it was something I always aspired for and knew I would be able to put my skills to use in the role. As a supervisor, I will be able to accomplish the ideas I've had including many event plans and help out our amazing team of staff with everything they need. My previous consistency proved how hardworking and enthusiastic I can be and I'll be happy to bring this to Gelato!

This may be a controversial one, but we do believe in it. The central location ensures easy access to anyone around the area, maintaining a balanced distance from other food venues and MLOs. It has the potential to be the city's own version of Starbucks! The upstairs area of the Downtown Cafe offers an amazing space for events and parties for us to host and also an area to hire out to others.

I have also been an owner of the Vanilla Unicorn and successfully hosted weekly events either alone or with Twinkle, with the exception of a couple vacations. We equally created that business from scratch. Unfortunately, my time there was cut short when I was unexpectedly removed. Also, Scoobi and I have never been in any negative situations involving breaking rules in the two years since we have played fivem, you can trust us <3<3<3
