Version 3.8.0

We're running 2 trials of new combat systems in todays update, first person shooting from vehicles & red = dead logic for hostile neighbourhoods. Depending on feedback we'll adjust these systems or remove them if they prove unpopular.

Combat Updates

  • The restrictions on certain weapons being fired from a vehicle were lifted, we now use GTA logic
  • When shooting from a vehicle you will be forced into first person view
  • If you are not peaceful in a neighbourhood you will appear red to all other gangs that are also not peaceful there
    • If there is a red marker above someones head you can consider them initiated upon

General Updates

  • Removing comms from a dead player is now done through qTarget
  • Boosting items were added to the boosting shop
  • You can now reclaim seeds from weed if it's gathered under 20%
  • The option to work as a taxi driver was removed from police
  • GSR and breathalyser tests were moved to qTarget
  • The police radar is no longer under an additional submenu in qTarget
  • Take ID was moved to qTarget
  • There were several new civilian vests, a mask and backpack added
  • Redline uniforms were added & updated
  • Issues with job garages conflicting with nearby homes were fixed
  • Extra hospital beds were added to some hospitals
  • The textures on weed plants were changed out

Would be nice if it's somehow possible to work police into this new system if it ends up being a permanant fixture, would help with some of the salty arguments from both sides during engagements, Example ( A PD is shot on a turf by a member of X gang the entire gang toggles red for PD and vise versa )

PD shouldn't see or be shown with any red markers - it should only affect gangs that are hostile towards the neighbourhood they're in

I'd like to flag PD red to a gang when they're raiding their HQ, but we'll look into that down the road, first things first is working out any kinks in this system and making sure people actually want it before we go expanding it further

100%, On paper it sounds really good and should benefit the server overall, I hope it functions well and is accepted so maybe in future it can be built upon.
